About Me

IMG_9271-2.png

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, in practice since 2017. I provide individual psychotherapy for adults and family based therapy for pre-teens and adolescents. I integrate evidence based, best practice interventions from contemporary psychodynamic therapy and systemic family therapy.

My method of treatment for individuals involves the containment and alleviation of psychological symptoms through alliance, verbalization and interpretation. My goal is to facilitate a corrective therapeutic experience that leads to durable symptom relief and subsequently a life that is more authentic, conscious and free.

I treat adolescents (ages 12+) using a family therapy model in which parental involvement is usually necessary. An adolescent's treatment can involve a combination of full family, parent-child, parent only and individual sessions. The treatment is usually short term, lasting 8-12 sessions, but can extend beyond that timeframe if it is indicated.
